Irwin Architectural Group was founded in 1966 by Carl Irwin to provided architectural services for a
variety of product types. By 1985, the firm’s focus had shifted exclusively to the design of senior care
environments as Assisted Living was introduced.
In 2000, the firm began the process of continuing its commitment to quality and seniors with Greg
Irwin becoming a partner. Under his leadership the firm added
an office in Seattle Washington, where it had been providing services 1985. In 2010 to improve and expand services, the firm has established an
association with Pi Architects in Austin, Texas. A firm with
extensive senior housing experience that provides services to existing clients and future clients with a
local presence in three major markets. With Three locations the
firm is situated to provide convenient services to the west coast. This association also allows us to provide interior and landscape services
for those clients who would prefer to have services provided through one company.
In 2010 the firm changed its name to Irwin Partners Architects. It allows the outstanding employees to join the firm as partners. They
each provide different and special talents to elevate the companies goal of becoming the best architectural
firm.
In the firms 44 year history it been involved with over 1,200 senior housing projects that range
from 55+housing to skilled nursing. The services have included
master planning, remodeling, additions, code compliance and general architectural services. Together with our clients we have received numerous awards and recognition
for the innovation and creativity of these projects.
As the U.S. population turns 60 at the rate of 8,000 per day, Irwin Partners Architects is
positioned to provide quality architectural services. With
innovative design and comprehensive computer programs, our teams commitment to the industry is evident at
both philosophical and legislative levels.
Irwin Partners Architects are the members of the American Association of Homes and Services
for the Aging, the California Association of Homes and Services for the Aging, Washington Association of Homes
and Services for the Aging and the National Council on Senior Housing of the National Association of Home
Builders (50+ Housing Council of Southern California).

LEIHANO, Kapolei, Hawaii
Currently in development, Leihano is an innovative mixed-use community that seamlessly blends resort living,
restaurants, commercial, active retirement and CCRC homes. IPA has been engaged as a consulting architect
to Group 70 International, due to Irwin Partners' expertise in senior living. Once completed, Leihano
will comprise 332 condominium homes, including 203 active adult homes, 40,000 sq. ft. of retail space and 52
accessory units located over the retail shops, which will serve as staff and visitor housing.
